We source our preloved clothes from a variety of places - from generous donations to picking up one off items that catch our eye in a secondhand shop or online.
We source our past season stock from independent brands who we love working with. They may have ordered an excess of stock and need to make way for incoming/next season stock.
We do the searching and curating so you don't have to!
It is really important to check your children's measurements against the sizings we provide. If you have any questions at all about the sizing of an item, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Postage and returns can be a costly and time-consuming business so we would love to avoid the inconvenience for all involved!
Thank you for thinking of us!
Please get in touch via email email@example.com if you have goods to donate/sell.
On our main webpage we have further details on goods we accept.
Unfortunately we may not have the capacity to accept all donations/items to sell but please do get in touch!
Great! Thank you for thinking of us, please get in touch via email firstname.lastname@example.org and we would love to see your past season stock.
All our items are steamed and pressed before going online. We also wash items if necessary. We encourage people to send in high quality items cleaned and in very good re-sale condition.
All secondhand items we receive are quarantined for 72 hours before being opened and prepared for onward sale (as per Covid 19 Government guidelines)
For our packaging - we aim to be as eco-friendly as possible. We re-use boxes we already have or source new boxes/brown paper from local packaging companies.
All our flyers and stickers are Irish made from recycled paper and are recyclable.
We send out some of orders in our re-usable RePack envelopes. RePack is an exciting, forward thinking Finnish company who specialises in re-usable packaging.
If you receive your goods in a Re Pack you can:
1) Keep it to store preloved goods you would like to send to KindFolk in the future.
2) Alternatively - fold the RePack, display Repack HQ sticker and pop it in the postbox for free delivery back to RePack where it will be re-used up to 20 times.
We are aware there is still a carbon footprint involved in posting the packaging back to mainland Europe, however it is still a more environmentally friendly option than single use plastic.
To find out more about RePack please visit their website www.repack.com
Please note we do not participate in their rewards scheme as we do not charge our customers for the RePack.
KindFolk is registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee, meaning it is written in our constitution to donate a percentage of our profits to childrens' causes.
Our aim is to commit a minimum of 33% of our net profits after tax to our chosen causes. We will endeavour to increase this percentage over the coming years however as with all businesses it is imperative that we also re-invest in our social enterprise so it remains sustainable and has the capacity to grow.
KindFolk will be transparent in where and how funds raised will be spent.
