We are accepting preloved dresses to sell on a consignment basis. If you have a beautiful dress to sell please email the following details to kindfolkpreloved@gmail.com and we will get back to you with consignment details.

As soon as we have confirmed the re-sale details and you are happy to proceed you can drop off your dress at two drop off points:
Kindfolk Studio, Crestfield Shopping Centre, Glanmire
Hyde's Children's Shop, Main St, Midleton
We can also arrange to pick up from Cork City / Suburbs and postage from outside Cork.
Unfortunately we don't have the capacity to accept all dresses but please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate you. We look forward to hearing from you.

Preloved Communion Wear 2024
We are excited to announce that we will be selling a beautifully curated selection of Preloved Communion Dresses at:
Location: Hyde's Children's Fashions, 6 Main Street, Midleton P25 E6PT
Date: Saturday January 13th - Saturday 20th January 2024 inclusive.
Appointments are now all fully booked up for Saturday 13th + Sunday 14th January.
Please email kindfolkpreloved@gmail.com if you would like to be added to the waiting list for a weekend appt. It will be walk-in only 9am-5.30pm Mon 15th - Saturday 20th January.
Please note: Each appointment is 30-40 mins long, Joanna and I will welcome two girls per appointment and will be very happy to advise on different styles and sizes - working closely with Therese and the team at Hyde's, we are really looking forward to giving the girls a lovely experience.
Dresses will be available in a range styles and sizes, all in pristine preloved condition. Prices range from €60 - €250. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch via email.

Communion Wear Re-sale
Please get in touch if you would like to see your little one's dress being loved again by another little girl on their special day.
We are currently sourcing dresses for our upcoming Preloved Communion Wear Pop ups in Cork and Dublin (Feb 2023) We are accepting preloved communion wear on a Consignment basis only i.e the seller is paid after the dress is sold. (We are currently not accepting suits as we have a sufficient number of suits.)
How it works:
- Please email kindfolkpreloved@gmail.com outlining details of your dress/suit - Brand / Photo / Size / Original Price / Condition/ If dry cleaning or mending is needed
- If your dress is a style we are looking for, we can agree a re-sale price based on information you have provided. You will receive 60% of re-sale price KindFolk 40% when the dress/ suit sells
- We will email you a Consignment Agreement and send you out a pre-paid stamp with tracking number to send the dress to us
- You will receive payment via Bank Transfer or PayPal as soon as the item sells.
- If your dress doesn't sell throughout the course of our 2 re-sale events the item will be returned to you at your cost (€9 fee for a postal return plus any dry cleaning / mending costs that were incurred - these can be discussed on a case by case basis as we want to avoid seller's having to incur costs)
- If the dress is a style we are confident will sell at future events we may make you an offer for the dress instead of returning it to you.

- We can arrange pick up of dresses/suits in Glounthaune / Glanmire / Cork City and surrounding suburbs.

Our Preloved Communion Wear selling season has come to an end for this year. Thank you so much to all the lovely parents and little girls who came to visit us in our pop up events in Brown Thomas and Arnotts. We are absolutely delighted with the response we have had from parents who were keen to make a sustainable choice for their little one's special day - without compromising on quality and service.
We are so happy that so many little girls are wearing beautiful preloved dresses this year - we wish them a wonderful day with their family and friends.
A huge thank you to the Innovation and Enterprise team at Brown Thomas / Arnotts who hosted our Preloved Communion Wear events, they are so lovely to work with and have a genuine passion for sustainability and bringing the concept of circular children's wear mainstream - thank you for having us!

For those making their First Holy Communion in 2022, KindFolk will hold a Preloved Communion Wear event in Arnotts Department Store - a first of its kind event in one of Ireland's most established department stores.
KindFolk will offer a curated selection of beautiful communion dresses in a range of styles and sizes. All preloved dresses will be dry cleaned and any dress with an imperfection has been sent to a seamstress to be modified so it will be as good as new.
Alongside the dresses, KindFolk will sell a hand-picked selection of boys suits, shirts and accessories e.g. bolero, headpieces, veils
Our heartfelt thanks to the Innovation + Enterprise Team at Arnotts Department store who are making this exciting event a reality and working behind the scenes to create a beautiful setting for you and your little one to shop for their special day - in a sustainable and more cost effective manner!

In November '21 KindFolk held a preloved communion wear event in The Circular Room, Arnotts Department Store, Dublin
Customers had the opportunity to bring their dress or suit into Arnotts to be valued by KindFolk and receive the value back on an Arnotts Gift card. The event was a great success - we sourced a beautiful selection of dresses and suits.
